Building Renovations
What a Faithful God We Serve!
Things are moving quickly as we prepare for an exciting new stage of renovations at White Tanks Southern Baptist Church!
We are so thankful for the way the Lord has faithfully guided us to this point, and we’re excited to see the plans for our church begin to take shape. This renovation represents an exciting step forward as we look toward the future and all that God has in store for our church family.
We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has been praying, serving, giving, and walking alongside us through this season. Your support and faithfulness have been such an important part of this journey!
We can’t wait to see what the Lord does through this next chapter. We’re excited, expectant, and trusting Him every step of the way!
Packing Begins
From August 24 through mid-September, you’ll begin to see some noticeable changes around the church as we prepare for construction!
Ministry leaders and volunteers will be busy packing, organizing, and moving supplies, decorations, furniture, and other items into storage. Classrooms and ministry spaces will gradually become a little emptier as we prepare the building for the work ahead.
So, if things look a little different—or a little bare—when you come to church, that means we’re making progress! We appreciate your patience, prayers, and willingness to lend a hand as we prepare for this exciting next step.
Construction Is Taking Shape!
We’re moving right along! We now have a projected construction start date, with renovations estimated to take approximately 4–6 months to complete. We’re thankful to see the Lord continuing to guide each step, and we’re excited to watch the plans for our church begin to take shape!
As part of the renovation, several areas of our building will be added, relocated, and updated to better serve our church family. And the changes won’t stop inside—we’ll also be getting a brand-new roof and updated landscaping!
We’re grateful for the opportunity to see this vision become a reality and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store!

Our church is more than a building—it is our church family’s home. It is where we worship together, raise our children in faith, celebrate milestones, support one another, and create memories that last for generations.
